Sergeant Hicks came to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office in 1995 as a corrections officer. Jay attended Hocking College majoring in the Police Science Program. Sergeant Hicks now serves as a patrol supervisor, and is K-9 handler for the office. Jay is also a member of the S.T.A.R. Team.
